Photographing people and capturing emotions and events has always been Ariel’s passion and is the most natural way for her to express herself. Ariel started shooting in 1999 when she received as a gift her grandmother’s old Olympus film camera. She studied at Concordia where she explored the artistic side of photography in the Fine Art program. After graduating she worked at several studios where she photographed families, kids, babies and assisted several professional photographers, and eventually began assisting advertising and fashion photographers full-time. Soon after she enrolled in the Commercial Photography program at Dawson College to fine-tune her technical skills. Her ease with a camera became evident when she began photographing weddings with Grey Sparrow, and her experience behind the lens is a great asset to the team. Ariel maintains an active and varied photography life, also shooting food for Le Must magazine and editorial portraits and reportage for TVA Publications.
